Beyond this formal scholastic training, however, each one plays his own part in guiding our habits and attitudes, and in build- ing admirable character traits. We are grateful to all these counselors and especially appreciative of the great deal of time which many of them devote to our extracurricular program. As a group, the faculty enjoys at least two major social functions each year-A Christmas party, and a june banquet. In addition, they frequently meet at a picnic table or over a cup of tea. We are pleased to add that they annually sponsor a tea in special recognition of the members of the National Honor Society, at which all seniors are guests. You 'will find many of our faculty busily engaged in community activities, in grad- uate courses, in the pursuit of hobbies, and in home-making. And we do have in our midst, a world traveler -a true exponent of our sea-going theme.
