M. ibeckca fion Because of our respect for her high scholastic standards and our admiration of her fine cultural attributes, we the members of the Class of '54, respectfully dedicate this issue of Red Jacket Trail to Miss Clara Johnson. ' This is Miss Johnson's twentieth year of teaching in our vicinity. She is best known by students in class rooms of French, Latin, and English, and at the piano as accompanist for choral groups. Her versatility extends itself into community living as she donates generously of her time and talents to church affairs and activities of the Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodges, as well as other clubs and local organizations. In her travels, which include two trips to Europe, Miss Johnson has visited points of interest in several countries, has sojourned in many of the picturesque islands, and has toured the United States and Canada extensively. She records the highlights of these tours in photographic slides in color and fluently accompanies the projection of each in a most interesting fashion with detailed descriptive accounts, which enable the viewer to share her experiences. Miss Johnson is an exponent of routine, order and careful planning. She succeeds in attaining goals which she sets for herself by rigidly adhering to the means by which they may be achieved. As yet we have heard of no plans which Miss Johnson may be contemplating for travel through space , however, we do know that she expects to spend two years on a trip around the world when she has retired from her profession. In expressing our hopes for Miss Johnson's future success and happiness, it seems most fitting that we say merely, BON VUYAGEL'
