Co ' J c -- Q .y Z c.— PRINCIPAL ' S MESSAGE As your high school commencemeat comes ever closer, you may feel some uncertaiaties about the future. This is to be expected as you will face a new period of your life when you will have to depend upon your own resources; mother and dad may not be close at hand with friendly advice and finan- cial assistance. However, your training has been sound; and by strict use of your God-given gifts of courage, intelligence, and character you should readily dispel the clouds of doubt and fear. While it is quite true diat you face many uncertainties, the opportunities for growth and advancement were never greater than in 1955. It appears probable that great discover- ies in the fields of energy, medicine, plastics, and many others, can make your adult lives far different from, and bet- ter, than those of your parents. The challenge to you is to make your place in this wonderful new wcvld. While your future environment will have a changing character, there are certain great basic truths that have not changed for centuries, nor will they ever change. These truths are a part of your religion. If you will be happy, build your success upon a rock of faith. That is the unchangeable in this changing world. Be a religious man or woman.
