Believing that the play's the thing, the Senior class, with the guidance of Mrs. Brown, selected the entertaining comedy Cheaper by the Dozen as this year's production. Played before audiences on the screen as well as on the stage, it has always been a smashing hit. Here is the author's formula for an evening of entertainment. To a family of twelve children, add an ambitious father who wishes his children to make every advancement in life, and an understanding mother who tries to settle difficulties between her husband and children. Then flavor with romances, fads and experiences of teenagers. This all adds up to a delightful evening. Both the acting and technical work were jobs well done with praise going to all for their hard work and talent. Presented to a packed house, the combination of a great script, a fine cast, and our hardworking directors, the play could not help but be a success. Thanks are due to Mr. Anthony Zappella, who so willingly took over the re- sponsibility of directing after Mrs. Carlton Brown became ill, and to Mrs. Brown who guided our initial rehearsals. If lt's News We Print It Members of the Red Cricket staff have this year made many ac- complishments. Guided by Mr. Anthony Zapella with Richard Sauer as Editor-in-chief, and Barbara Viele as Junior Editor, the Red Cricket staff has produced a paper entirely devoted to high school news. The paper, printed eleven times a year, has had timely ar- ticles, clever jokes and interesting information. For the first time, the Copy Cricket composed of news from the first six grades has made its appearance. The students with the assistance of Barbara Viele and Richard Lefavor, have written and produced a memiographed newspaper which is a step towards their future newspaper work.
