Dedication j TO OUR PARENTS Dear Mom and Dad, When you were a child and heard the words Honor thy Father and thy Mother do you remember feeling guilty because you knew how often you had dishonored them? Can you also remember that as you matured you became more and more aware of how much your parents meant to you? If you recall how the guilt and love and gratitude all welled up inside until you felt that you must show them your appreciation, then you must also remember how fu- tile all your attempts seemed. Remembering these things you know the feel- ings we have not been able to express, and you understand why we dedicate this year’s Cercis to you. This was an eventful year for the Musketeer Five. Capturing the Charters Conference crown for the first time in the history of the school, the team com- pleted its schedule with a 16-5 record. The Musketeers, having finished one of the most successful seasons in a long time, look for an almost equally good team next season. Only two of the first five will graduate this year, and the hope is that new talent will be developed from the junior varsity. Attendance at the games this year was unusually good, and all-in-all, the season was ex- ceptionally satisfactory.
