Many teachers on campus have extra activities but Jean Wood has done double time having taught at Salis- bury High in addition to Red Bluff High. When asked what she liked best at Salisbury she re- sponded l liked having the time and opportunity to get to really know the kids. When asked how she liked it here at Red Bluff High certain amount of consistency. One of the biggest differ- ences between the two schools according to Mrs. Wood is The time factor. There isn t the necessity for the time at Salisbury to be as controlled as it is here. Mrs. Wood replied, I like living in this room. There is a Mr Pflugrad's sabbatical leave was granted in late Au gust of I979 He had a clear concept of what he hoped to achieve during the year Mr Pflugrad visited over IOO different schools in Washington Oregon ldaho Arizona and California He was looking into reading writing and roflcienc testln He also learned about the remedial ICSI When Mr Pflugrad was asked what schools he was most impressed with he said The Gunderson High School in San .lose San Diego city schools and Portland Oregon high schools Mr Pflugrad s most exciting time was dur ing his visit to Europe where he visited sixteen different countries P . .
