The J.V. Basketball team's hard work, determination. and total team effort earned them a I4-5 winfloss re- cord plus a 2nd place finish in the NAL. According to Coach Bauguss, the team's strong point is they all love to play the game. He went on to say. This team was one of the most exciting to come through Red Bluff They could really light up the score board They were very unselfish and worked incredibly hard' The Most Improved Player Award went to Mark Avilla l I48-J.V. Jim Dreier summed it up when he said lt has been a pretty disappointing season overall but everyone on the team knows we could have done much much better. Our 6-I5 record should be turned around. I know our team took some flak but in my opinion we could of used a little more support and a lot less criticism. By the way the cheerleaders did an outstanding job during the season. John Wheeler, who had to quit because of medical reasons gave the team support for most of the season. Most Valuable Player was Tom Lengtat and Jim Dreier was Most Inspirational.
