A small but spirited group of young athletes com- prised this year s Cross Country team, lt s hard to say just who was our best runner, They all did an excellent job commented Coach Lint. They may have been a small team compared to the other schools that they ran against but they gave it all they had. Plagued by a few injuries the team otherwise did great. Buckley Hulseman broke his foot in a race against Enterprise and sat out most of the season. Even on a broken foot he finished Sth in the N.A.L. race at Shasta, Tim Kellar did an excellent job this year stated Coach Lint who adds Natalie Jones also did a won- Shasta. We had a good team but we couldnt get it to- ether in a meet. One or two of our key runners would be injured but we managed to have the best season and definitely the most fun commented Rick McDorman. The varsity team took an astounding 4th place in the N.S.C.l.F. championship with the J.V. team com- ing in at 6th. The girls team tied for 6th place with Central Valley in the N.A.L. race.
