zecaflc As we look back through our four years at Red Bluff High we recall many happy and inspirational events Events which have given us guidance and ex 05 penence in paving the way for our futures In recalling these events we can remember the many things we would have done differently and the times we wished we had given a little more effort to a project or duty The year 1959 1960 promises to be another successful year at Red Bluff High School For the seniors it is the last year and for the freshmen the be ginnrng of four of the most wonderful years of their lives jab The school year opened with a new administration headed by our prin cipal Mr Salisbury Many new teachers have been added to the faculty list Student affairs have been conducted by a new state of Student Body officers under the guidance of our new advrsor Mr Sale We began the year with the sale of activity cards and a student council W sponsored dance For the first time in many years we have music in lunch room with the addition of a Juke box We have made a record this year Skin: peed in athletics of which we can be proud Perhaps the most thrilling event was the last football game of the season Red Bluff defeated Chico 40 0 to win both theN A L and N I C crowns The team proved to be one of the best in many years as it had an undefeated season a feat last accomplished in ning of the football team is an indication of continued success for the remainder of the year As seniors we realize that graduation is approaching We will soon assume the responsibilities of a new life which we are to know for the remainder of our lives We hope we are prepared for this vital step If we are prepared we may attribute it to the training we have received rn our homes our school our churches and our community These have given us the strength courage and faith in meeting the challenges of today and to morrow Our homes have iven us our basic foundation in life The have iven us securrt encoura ement and 8 Y S Y 8 guidance to cope with the many problems which face us as individuals We are greatly indebted to our parents for their never ceasing efforts to enrich our lives Our school has given us the knowledge and competence needed to develop rnto mature and responsible citizens It has taught us to understand and respect the rights of others and how to get along with our fellow men Our churches who have shown us how to live as true Christians and sincere faith in ourselves Our community has provided us with the proper surroundings in which to grow to live and to work toward becoming the responsible citizens of tomorrow I sincerely hope that we as students and future citizens have given ourselves a chance I hope we realize the happiness and fun we have had in high school and how indebted we are to our homes school churches and our community for making this possible 5 L O I a Q 1 n - h 1 ' - .
