Students Haunt Mall for March of Dimes Forty students from Red Bank Regional again participated in the March of Dimes Haunted House which took place in the Eatontown Mall. These students designed two rooms, the Mummy Room and the Devil's Maze. Running through the better part of October, the Haunted House pro- vided an opportunity for students all over the area to meet people and contribute to the March of Dimes program through a one dollar admis- sion fee to the Haunted House. Mrs. Renee Max well, the coordinator of this activity, was aided by actors, artists, and make-up workers who repre- sented the entire school. Freshman Karen Stoothoff rises from a mummy’s coffin to scare visitors at the March of Dimes Haunted House.

Bobo Palmer Award Presented at Dinner 26 To honor varsity winning athletes and scholas- tically outstanding students, an awards dinner, sponsored by the Booster Club, was held at the close of each of the three athletic seasons. Pre sented at the Buck Smith’s restaurant in Keans- burg, the athletes were feted with a roast beef dinner followed by the presentation of varsity let ters by the coaches. At the fall awards dinner, a special Bobo Palmer Memorial Award was pre sented by the Senior Class to Mark Lewis, the out- standing player at the Thanksgiving Day game against Long Branch. At the Fall Sports Banquet. Michael Dmkel, an AFS student from Ger many, receives his award for playing center forward on the soccer team.
