“Go Ask Alice Boosts Junior Budget On January 5, 6, and 7, the Junior Class pre sented “Go Ask Alice,” a drama revolving around a teenage girl, Alice, dealing with her problems in withdrawing from the drug scene. Directed by Mrs. Renee Maxwell, assisted by student director Lisa Healy, the cast and crews spent many hours in rehearsal preparing to give one of the best per formances the stage at Red Bank Regional has seen. Kathy Lee's moving portrayal of Alice was accented by other leads: Pam Mauer, as Chris, Alice’s best friend, Kathy Wells and Andrew Pas- chetto as Alice’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aberdeen, and Dave Blakelock and Colleen Donahue as Alice’s brother and sister, respectively. On January 4, the cast presented a special per formance for the Psychology classes, giving the classes a chance to observe an accurate, true-to life portrayal of the effects of drug use. This per- formance was followed by a drug abuse seminar directed by a representative from Neptune Youth and Family Service Center. Mr Aberdeen, who is played by Andrew Paschelto, greets Alice's current suitor George, who is played by Stephen Montgomery. In the mental hospital scene.
