First prize winner Susan Voss sings her original song, Lover of My Dreams. Out of the television set and onto the stage of Red Bank Regional came the Gong Show, spon sored by the class of 1979 last October. This show was a popular one, and attracted many friends, families, and people looking for an eve- ning of entertainment. Entertained they were, with acts ranging from a live band to strictly com edy routines. Some of the award-winning acts were Sue Voss, singing her original “Lover of My Dreams,” and Susan Nixon, Lisa Cross, Renee Holder and Diana Ross dancing to a Pointer Sis- ters’ song. Undoubtedly the worst act of the show was King Hamakihaka and his gals, otherwise known as Pam Peseaux, Lisa Phipps, Karen Soleau and Cathy Walsh. Pulling all this frivolity together were the Masters of Ceremonies, Scott Wilson and Anthony Biancomano. Even the fac- ulty got into the action of the show as the four judges, Miss Uva Thompson, Miss Onnalee Gaze, Mr. John Hird, and Mr. Gerald Gance attired themselves suitably in keeping with the humor- ous side of the evening. A grand finale included a shaving cream attack on the four judges before presentation of the awards. Mrs. Renee Maxwell, advisor of the |umor class, congratulates Scott Wilson and Anthony Biancomano on their fine performances as Masters of Cere monies of the Gong Show held in October. Photo left.
