Gil land (Supervising Principal). 6 • BOARD OF EDUCATION Our Board of Education is composed of nine elected members, to serve periods of three years each, a district clerk, and a supervising principal. In the hands of this group, school legislation and pro- grams of instruction are adopted. It then falls into the hands of our super- vising principal and principals of our schools to see that the programs are carried out. In the past, close harmony has existed throughout the school and we hope the same may continue to foster the growth of our American youth.
