It seems only yesterday that we sat in freshman class, reading for the first time Shakespeare's beautiful words on MERCY. Since then, having spent four years of happy school days with teachers who have dedicated their lives to the service of youth in the name of Our Lady of Mercy, we have come to understand the deep sig- nificance ofthe Bard of Avon's inspired words. Truly, there has fallen upon the seniors of Red Bank Catholic High a steady, gentle rain of mercy, blessing each of our lives with the good things of earth and, more important, with a holy under- standing of the joys of heaven. Because we feel we have been the recipients of a bountiful share of twice blest mercy, we, the Class of Nineteen Hundred Fifty-one, in grateful memory of the Sisters of Mercy who have taught us to love their Mother and ours, reverently dedicate a shining new Emerald to Heaven's holy Queen, our beloved Lady of Mercy. 6
