The production, directed by Ms. Louise Lane, was strictly composed ot, song and dance routines with no dialogue. The music ranged from the 1920's to rock 'n' roll to country-western. ln addition to the cast, almost one hundred grammar s chorus. chool students sang in the children s Ms. Andrea Pitzer, Mr. William Wadington, and the stagecrew built the sets. Mrs. Elizabeth Babcock designed and sewed the costumes, The musical, narrated by lulie Carrier and Eran Pizzo, followed the story of loseph in the Bible. loseph lErank Tieril, lacob's lDave Connollyl favorite son, was sold as a slave in Egypt by his eleven brothers who were jealous of him because their father gave him a beautiful coat of many colors. The brothers told lacob that his beloved son had died, But loseph had the ability to interpret dreams and soon became the Pharaohs llxen Sladkyj respected chief advisor. Many years later, during a famine, loseph's brothers came to Egypt to seek the Pharaohs aid. The Pharaoh gave them food, as loseph advised him, and the brothers were very grateful. The family was reunited, loseph forgave his brothers, and everyone lived happily ever after, Top: Carol Singleton, Michele Mackinac, Linda Baltis, and Diane Stefaniak play parts as the wives of loseph's father. T f f.f1T'M 'S I v E .-Y 3 tl 3 i E ' i 'Mk ANUT ED C ASS SA S aGO0DB 9 The 32nd graduating class marched into Hanke Memorial Stadium with mixed emotions, but they all shared the same feeling of comradery, The commencement started at 7:30 pam. on lune IO. The Valedictorian was Kathleen Norris and the three Salutatorians were lean Ciaretta, Maria O'Keefe, and Meri Smith. Awards were given to the distinguished seniors of the class. The Varsity Clubs outstanding girl scholar was Kathleen Norris and the outstanding boy scholar was Raymond Lesniewski. The Athletes of the Year were Ianet Grice and joseph Karmeris. The DAR. Award was given to Kathleen Melody and the SAR. Award was given to Patrick Duffy. The Hickory Sticks were given to senior class president, Linda Kubiak and to Patrick Duffy. The senior class gift was the video display board in the Student Commons. Top: After receiving their diplomas, the first row of of- ficial graduates smile joyously, while the remaining graduates receive theirs.
