TIME: MINUTES, HOURS, DAYS Time: Whot is time? The dictionory defines it os every moment there hos ever been or ever will be. The 1981 ARIES would like to define TIME by showing how the people of Reovis spend their time. For most people the doy moy begin ot o or o18O in the morning. They woke up out of o sound sleep either to the sound of o buzzing olorm clock or music. They get out of their nice cozy, worm beds ond get reody for school, Next, the stoff fights their woy through morning troffic ond the students wolk to their corners to cotch the bus or even wolk to school for those who ore so fortunote to live close. The students ond employees eventuolly orrive ot school ond go their seporote woys. The teochers moy hove their lost cup of coffee in the teochers' lounge while preporing for closses. The students moy go to the Cofeterio, others to the librory to finish lost night's homework ond some moy even go to the Potio to spend their few lost moments with friends before school begins. The bell rings ot 8 o'clock ond school is undetwoyp before you moy know it, it moy be lunch time ond then 3 o'clock. For most it is time to go home while those students ond teochers who enjoy extro curriculor octivities spend onother two or more hours porticipoting or cooching o fovorite sport or odvising ond working in o fovorite club. Finolly os the work is finished for the doy, the proctice procticed, those dedicoted heod home for dinner. After dinner, it is time for homework or groding popers ond then retiring to thot nice, cozy, worm bed. We Salute Mr. Erbes As a tradition the yearbook staf-f dedicates the yearbook to a person who has given outstanding support and help to the school. This year we would like to dedicate this book to a person who served on the faculty for more than 31 years When the school opened in 1950, he was one of the original 22 faculty members. This man received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Library Science from the University of Illinois. Here at Reavis he has not only been Head Librarian for the past C31 years, but has also been the man behind the scenes for many plans and ac- tivities. ln fact the library, completed in 1969, was designed and planned by him. He is also known as the unofficial host to mony staff parties. We would like to thank Mr. Ray Erbes for the many hard hours he has given our school by dedicating this book to him. Thank you iii-Q, st' I
