ART FAIR Displays Talents Last year's art fair tools place on May14-18, 1981. As Mr. Rode described it, 'Not only was the art worls done well, but the turn-out was very encouraging. There were 4,000 people who viewed the fair. The fair was started in 1965 to show how much effort Reavis students put into their worls. The students are proud and ap- preciate this opportunity to show their worls to everyone in- cluding their parents. The art fair, held in the main gym lobby each year, included the vocational classes. ln the past, only the drawing, painting, and pottery classes were represented. Now the students in the home economics, woods and other industrial art classes present their projects also, Above: I wonder who Bob Hunt had in mind when making this? Time to Show Gff Reovis students, teochers ond odministrotors busily prepored for the onnuol Open House which wos held on November 10, 1981. Teochers were ovoiloble to folk with porents in the clossrooms. Visitors were en- couroged to visit speciol disploys ond events locoted throughout the school. ln the Fine Arts Deportment, vorious music groups such os the Concert Choir ond Vorsity Singers performed. While in the Art Wing, there were vorious disploys ond demonstrotions of students' current projects. If you went to the Humonities Division, you could find stogecroft students completing their scole model projects of theotre sets. Also, the Aries ond Blueprint stoff were ot work in the publicotions office. The Noturol Sciences Division supervised o tour of the computer focilities. There were plont disploys throughout the school, ond science equipment ond slides were illustroted in clossrooms. P,P.S. stoff members ond severol counselors were locoted in the Guidonce Office. The Coreer ond Occupotionol Educotion Division wos relocoted to the moin floor ond open for visitors. Stoff members were olso ovoiloble in the gymnosiums ond physicol educotion focilities. Much plonning ond work hod been done to moke this yeor's open house enjoyoble ond informotive for oll porents.
