,J I A TIME TO ACT Lost yeor's spring musicol, Pippin , directed by Louise Lone wos o greot success. in the opening scene, the oudience sees o troupe of octors, led by the leoding ployer Uenni Chodob, enocting the story of Pippin's life. lt begins with Pippin Ckich Strosser, ond Fronk Tierib coming home from college to his royol fomily . He feels thot he hos to do something with his life ond thot it must be 'lfulfilled , He tries to toke ofter his fother, King Chorlemogne Ckoy Lesniewskib, ond become in- volved in oll ospects of wot. Thot foils, so he visits his grond- mother, Berthe Uulie Corrieri, who tells him to do some lov- ing while he's still young. Pippin foils ot this olso, ond his mother, Fostrodo Uoy Studniorzb, ond stepbrother, Lewis Clim Ankrom, ond John McNollyD, then persuode him to overthrow his fother's throne. He kills the king, but ofter o while Pippin finds thot he con't control the kingdom. His fother's life is then mogicolly restored. Pippin finds on ordinory wife, Kotherine Cl4othy Aiken, ond Koren Witekb, but the leoding ployer wonts to end his life in o spectoculor finole.
