Powder Puff Storrs o New Tradition The first annual Reavis Senior Girls Powder Puff football game was held on Friday, October 16, at Hanke Stadium. Approx- imately 400 spectators came out to cheer for the Ram Moms and Psamettes . The Ptamettes won 20-O, When asked how Coach Murphy liked coaching the faculty members, he responded, I loved it! lt's always nice to coach such well trained and highly motivated world class athletes who advise their coach, When asked what he though about thejob the senior girls did, he responded, They did a fairjob, but they displayed some 'dir- ty' tactics and they would call our players names like lold ladyl They would tell the teachers they weren't fast and wouldn't let the teachers catch them, even after the teachers told them to stop! Coach Murphy didn't think the teachers gave it their all during the game. He commented, They were instructed to hold their scoring down, but l think they must have misunderstood me as to how much they were to hold back. But next year, watch out. As for the senior girls team, there were 38 members who were coached by Mr. Klusendorf. When asked how he liked coaching the girls, Mr. Klusendarf replied, Phenomenal, lt was great! He also stated that all of the girls were extremely cooperative and that everyone had a chance to play. Everyone who paticipated in the game felt that it should be a tradition carried on for many years to come. My iw fl 'K Qi-ut' ., ,
