ST DE T There is more to a students life than books and classes. There are those special times that seem to take forever to arrive . .. and are quickly over. The dances, special award presentations, class traditions such as the senior breakfast, and the activities we choose to become involved in, all add that speciall son'1ething to our few years at Reavis. Seniors reach their final year with atsense of pride for having accomplished goals, and a sense of sadness, knowing that it will end all too soon . . . and that they will never again have quite the same relationship with friends, or with a place they have called home for four years. The overriding feeling is however, one of happiness . . . feelings of belonging and participation. Underclass- men as well as juniors and seniors fill a busy life with activities such as drama, musical groups and student publications. Scholars and athletes receive the rewards due them for excellence in the classroom and on the field or playing floor. All students partake in the festivi- ties of Homecoming. The year draws to a close with two of the most dramatic events in a students life. Prom is the highlight of the social calendar . . . and the culmina- tion of a senior's full social life. And, of course, there can be no evening like graduation for over four hundred sen- iors and their families. The life of today's high school student can be dull and ordinary. Or, it can be full and rewarding. Those who have chosen the full life take advantage of the opportuni- ties offered at Reavis, and in doing so, enrich their school experience.
