Thirty years ago, Reavis High School emerged as one small building in a ldeless held This lone construction, now the drivers' education annex, was the beginning of the City of Burbank. Burbank grew around that one lonebf building to become an active and industrious community. Eventualbf other buildings and homes were built, and a community began to take shape. As the community prospered Reavis High School developed into a commu- nity center as well as a ine educational institution. Reavis was not built solehf by hammer and nail. It was built with the cooperation of students, staff and the citizens of our community. Reavis is not simpbf a building. It is also sports, clubs, activities, classes and friend- shnts. It is a spirit experienced at a homecoming game or a theatrical production. As the years pass, the essence of Reavis will not change substantiallv. A building or two may be added. Facilities may be altered or improved yet our school will remain a place to learn, a place to spend time becoming involved and above all, a place to make a friend
