Under Papa's Picture captivates full ho Under Papa's Picture the fall play, opened to full houses on both nights of performance. The play was set in the living room of an upper class familys' large Cali- fornia home, where the owner of the house, a striving young execu- tive, John O'ConneII CSteve Tierij, struggles to gain seniority in a large company. His family con- sists of his wife Janice CKathy Nitzj, who attempts to disuade John from his total absorbtion in his work, his son Kevin CGary Gowj, who finds his dreams in the flames of a fireplace, his pregnant Cunwedb mother Grace CCarol Lovelacej, his mother's Iover-Fa- brizo Bustamente CGM Olivaj, and Father Mitchell QTony Wettererj their priest who keeps a careful watch over the O'ConneIIs. 7 4'

Winter band concert A Musical experience The night is filled with enthusi- asm. The audience is getting situ- ated while the freshmen band warms up on stage. Three trum- pet soloists Frank Gayda, Jim Ro- kiatis, and Anthony Douglas are featured in a fanfare preceeding the freshmen band and in the first number of the evening - 'Bugler's Holiday'. Following the freshmen, was the concert band performing the masterpiece Victory At Sea featuring trumpet soloist Greg Coate. The bands were under the direction of Andrew McCutcheon. Top: Sue Crawford, Wendy Reynolds, and Debbie Burns concentrate very hard for a difficult passage coming up. Center: Jim Rokiatis, Frank Gayda, and Anthony Douglas show off their musical talents on the song Bugler's Holiday . Bottom Left: Clarinet section puts a lot of feeling into the song A Festival Prelude . Bottom Right: The song Promises, Promises brought back a lot of memories from the musical three years ago. ...ss
