I, Nw Rocky plays on as couples take the floor Beautiful colors and stylish fash- ions were flashed by spirited stu- dents as the Homecoming victory dance swung into action. This years theme was popular songs, and the band, Rocky appropriate- ly followed the theme by playing the hits as the couples took the floor. The highlight of the evening was crowning of the queen and the king. They accepted their crowns calmly, although they were quite excited, having been chosen out of the whole school. As Home- coming queen Michelle Lauer puts it, It was very exciting and an experience I will always trea- sure. R 5'3 :Lis Gqharxzs 3 7. if ' ,'. Y . t

Clubs are assembling and adding final touches along with last inspections to their floats. A pulsating beat is heard in the dis- tance as the Marching Rams be- gin school song. People crowd on corners with cameras in hand ready for the bright and attractive floats and clubs to parade by. Judges walk beside floats check- ing for originality, sturdiness, and neatness while the fire engines sound the step off of the parade. Hearts and spirits of family and friends are warm in the chilly morning as the parade passes by. Within an hour, the stands were packed. The Rams came outlook- ing ready for a rough bout with the warriors.
