Freshmen, Sophomores Find High School Offers New Freedoms, Responsibilities A guy or doll coming' to Reayis as an underelass- man is amazed at the difference between grammar school and high school. The Contrast has real meaning to the pupil as he meets new situations. new people. and new ways of doing things. Our school ollers to the freshman and sophom new freedoms and new responsibilities. A hoy or girl can now decide on how much time to spend in the prep- aration ol' a subject. He or she has choices to make. with the help ol' parents and advisers. in the selection ol' courses. There are also choices to make in alter-school activi- ties. All students are urged to take part in some ol' Reavis' many activities. The underclassman will lind that a great deal of his time will he spent on the hasic things that eyeryone should learn in order to get along well in today's world. These things are included in required suhjects which every student must take. In addition to these fundamentals, Reayis olliers the young pupil a wide variety of suhjects from which to choose.
