I SENIOR CLASS HISTORY lConttnuedl The next event ot the year was the Juntor Prom The theme of the prom was Trp Toe Through the Tultps The Gym was decorated wtth blue and white crepe paper Lancl scope scenes covered the walls of the gymnastum a water wheel at the east end ot tne gym completed the motor part ot the decorations A banquet was held prior to the Prom Sammy Mossutos orchestra ot Spokane turntshed the mustc Thc decorations were very pretty and a good ttme was had by all At last we became Sensors Thus year was filled wtth many acttvtttes The ttrst acttvtty was the Freshman Intttatton Each Freshman was requtred to wear a costume representtng some song during the day of tntttatton ln the eventng the tntttattot party was held Our announcements lor graduation were ordered from the Master Engravers ot Portland Oregon The theme on the announcements belng Stairway to the Stars The school board granted us a day tn the Sprtng whtch we used as our Sentor Day Other sprtng acttvlttes Included the senior play the luntor prom and a dinner gtven us by out parents As we commenced our Sensor year our numbers had decreased by three namely Luctlle Pohle Jack Ftelds and Wtlma Rupnow No new students were added Class otttcers for thus year are Prestdent Janet Cltnton Vtce Prestdent Marte Carstens Secretary Ann Sherwood Treasurer Geraldtne Remmers Tl e student representative to the counctl was Daniel Plaster and the class advisor was Mr Wtsdom The seniors whtch spent T2 years together are Carol Hem Daniel Plaster Marte Carstens Bernard Thtemens Ma garet Stunlmuller and Mary Bergeron The Senior class was well represented tn school acttvttles The boys were acttve tn football basketball and baseball Carol l-letn was chosen yell leader Bernarcl Thtemens was a member ot the Livestock Judging Team Dantel Plaster and Dale Dal ltn being on the tudgsng teams tn prevtous years Cass Motto We Seek The Higher Things Class Flower Ltly ot the Valley Class Color Whtte 8- Chtnese Red . 1, , ' f' ' r. . 1 . tt 1 , - . . 3 , , .
