3£N liliiiiiiii 3 1833 01856 2147 GC 976 402 B4750W, 1966 Zhe Owl 1966 Dear Students, Another year has gone by, and each of us has had many new experiences. The greater number of these experiences have grown from the various ac- tivities within our school. A memory has resulted from each of these experiences. Without memory our life ' s past would be insignificant and worthless Through the school we have shared joys and thrills with one another as well as disappointments and heartaches. We ' ve acquired new scholastic skills and matured in our associations with others. We have taken responsibilities, met challenges, and tried to abide by the standards of our school. We have also applied our skills and knowledge athletically and scholastically to improve the rating of RCHS. Only through our efforts can our school exceed all past records or standards. May each of you returning to RCHS next year uphold every standard and every rule. We, the annual staff, have tried to help you relive these many experiences. We hope we have reconstructed at least one event that your memory box didn ' t seem to retain. It is with great pride that we present to you the 1965-1966 edition of THE OWL . Sincerely, C Z C Z A d Linda Settle Editor ' Dedication To a man whose face is familiar to each of us we take this means of saying THANKS TO YOU . We have seen this face reflect many moods during 1965-1966. We have seen elation, which comes after a hard earned victory. We have seen the disappointment of defeat. We have seen leadership and good sportsmanship backed by determination. And always it has been the face of a gentleman respected by friend and opponent alike. It is because of these qualities and his love for RCHS and its students that to you COACH TERRY PAGE we dedicate the 1966 OWL. Friendship is to be purchased only by friendship. A man may have authority over others, but he can never have their hearts but by giving his own Thomas Wilson Mnual Staff Recording your School Memories 1st row: Patti Holt, Shelly Armstrong, Candy Harris, Lois Carter, Vikki Winchester, Loy Rogers, Alicia Haliburton, Vivian Morrow, Marcy Smith, Linda Mills, Linda Settle, Kathy Elkins. 2nd row: Billie Poage, Candy Daugherty, Sue Nutter, Vonnie Sissel, Linda Wilde, Carolyn Ethridge, Tina Gortez, Pam Daughtery, Carmen Jacobo, Shelia Stodghill. 3rd row: Lois Koen, Scott Fields, Phil Duesing, Sandy Strickler, Pam Havenhill, Sandy Stives, Juanita Jacot, Jopy McReavy, Sherry Barnes, Judy Nobels, Vicki Ragland, Janie Ethridge. The wonderful memories you have of the events which have transpired are pictured in this annual.
