The Class of ' 88 began its sophomore year with a low bank account and a new advisor. Without any prior experience but with her energetic, enthusiastic, and friendly manner, Mrs. Susan Fritz took on the heavy task of class advisor and helped bring our class together as a unit. Her many hours of anxious worry and planning con¬ tributed to the success of our activities. At the beginning of junior year, Miss Linda Rozzi joined Mrs. Fritz as co-advisor to the class. Her quiet organization and ef¬ ficiency helped make the next two years even more successful. As we depart RMHS, the Class of ' 88 ex¬ tends its heartfelt gratitude to these two tea¬ chers, who have given so much of themse¬ lves.

that grandfatherly advice about life, which so many of us will long remember. As seniors, those of us considering careers in educa¬ tion had the opportunity to experience the classroom from the other perspective; this was through enrollment in Elementary School Seminar advised by Mr. Dunbar. Mr. Dunbar ' s contributions to our lives extend beyond the classroom. Through the dancing, acting, writing, and museum visiting of the METRO Pathways program, advised by him, some of us have been able to experience and begin to appreciate the vast cultural life and differences of Boston. His unrelenting spons¬ orship of the blood mobile has also deepened our appreciation of life. After thirty-one years of such dedication to the students of RMHS, Mr. Dunbar is retiring. We, the Class of ' 88, extend our thanks and dedicate Pioneer ' 88 to him. ;

Most students at RMHS know only the sound of Mrs. Hilda Ahlstrom, the Voice of RMHS, as she calls students to the office, summons janitors, and announces cancellations of sporting events. Few of us, perhaps, would re cognize her outside the main office, where she has worked for most of th» past fourteen years. In that time, however, she has done more than make announcements. Beyond executing her many secretarial duties, Mrs. Ahlstrom with ht r friendly smile has often been the first person encountered by the trembling freshman who lost his schedule or forgot his locker combination. She has been the font of information for students, parents, and teachers alike. It Mrs. Ahlstrom did not know the answer, probably no one did. She has t invaluable to the smooth functioning of this school. As Mrs. Ahlstrom retires from RMHS, the Class of ' 88 thanks her , wishes her the best of good fortune. I l I I ' , ‘ ' 1 ' (
