They came with the sun of morning, amid its webbed and wandering goldness And their song was one of light and promise and spun-threaded silver dreams. And with these dreams and whispered hopes They painted colored windmill days filled of friends and ways of kindness and quiet That over and again brought them the comfort of smiles and sprinkled sunshine Through their wandered days of search and forgotten days of aloneness. And through the timeless searchings and endless thoughts of years and days Their minds grew and came to touch Tomorrows wonderous and unknown and dreams filled with light. And came to them slowly a part of Knowledge and Understanding, And they turned from their sheltered joy and warmth To try and reach to those whose lives were spun of darker stuff. And they painted for the lonely Tapestries of running melted orange to dapple the days, And for him who saw only darkness and despair There were etched songs of golden smiles and lavendered fields of sea and wind. And for the bitter they crafted once more the beauty and joy of life; And to the sorrowful they showed The running sunshine of the air and the rainbows of the sun. And him who was yet dreamless and hopeless They comforted with the promise of the rising dawns and dreams and tomorrows yet unborn. — Mary Lemaire

IN MEMORIAM SFra iA ffttu arasAl January 4, 1962 to April 13, 1979 To those who knew him, Frank Kudaroski was better known as “F”. He was a person who enjoyed having a good time and being with friends. Come any Friday night, Frank was looking for a party. One beautiful quality “F” had was his willingness to sit and listen to a friend with a problem. He was always there, if you just needed someone to talk with. Conversations with Frank were often very deep. “F enjoyed fiddling with electronics and was very talented at it. He was a member of Blue Mule and also made and ran the light shows for the groups, Crossover and Mugs. If he were here today, he would also be doing the lights for Ulysses. Better known by Frank as “Big H , Mr. Harney was one of his favorite teachers. Severed weeks before his accident, Frank spoke with some friends about how he wanted people to react, if he died. He did not want people to mourn him, but wanted us to have a party and remember him for what he was. So, on April 18, 1979, all F s friends threw a party in his honor. A young artist, who was studying under a great mas¬ ter, came one day to the studio to beg for permission to use his master ' s brush. The request was granted, and with a singing heart the young man went away to his own painting, thinking that now his work would be much b etter. A short while later he returned with the brush, comp¬ laining that he could do no better with it than he could with his own brush. An assistant in the studio, hearing the young man ' s complaint, said to him: Friend, it is not the master ' s brush you need, but the master ' s devo¬ tion, the master ' s spirit. — Sunshine Magazine 10
