DEDICATION We, the Class of 1970, take great honor in the dedication of our yearbook to Miss Virginia Bartlett, who has devoted great time and effort to help the students of RMHS find their place in the area of Physical Education. The knowledge we have received from Miss Bartlett’s classes is not learning from a book but from oneself. Miss Bartlett has had to give more than from an encyclopedia—she has had to give of herself. A friendly smile, an extended hand, and a warm heart have made our classes and after-school activities a great deal more meaningful while at RMHS. Miss Bartlett has coached and taught with a firm hand, but has allowed for the laughs and good times when she has felt them appropriate. In sports, class, and gymnastics, Miss Bartlett has acquired the respect of all who work under her. We the Class of 1970 have felt the warmth of knowing that someone really wants us to reach a goal. Whether it be a forward roll on the mats, a double leg cut on the rings, or a simple” win on the field, we have known that there is that one person there cheering us on and helping every inch of the way. To you Miss Bartlett—our Thanks! Thank you for understanding and trying to help us through these important years of our lives. We must admit that we have made things quite difficult at times, but we do appreciate your putting up with us. We hope we will all realize what you have given to our class when, in June, you think to yourself— I know what I have given you—I know not what you have taken.” idea taken from Antonio Porchia
