When the votes were counted, our President I was Joe Dilsp Vice-President, Don Hucke, Secretary, Janet Rulfs, Treasurer, Don Rolf, Sergeant-at-Arms, Don l Hampton and Jerry Lang. The class felt that the motto The Wayis Hard but the Prize is Great still held a world of meaning. Our I class colors were the same, purple and white and our flower, the baby orchid. ' Once again our class sponsors were Miss Lang, Miss Brandenberger, and Mr. Pritchard, who helped in . making this year a big success. 1 At The Royal Pigskin Ball Nancy Asbrock and Jack Jeffries were crowned Football queen and king. The 1: second dance of the year was the Heart of my Heart Valentine Dance, and Janet Rulfs was our chosen queen l P I On March 29, we had a lot of fun presenting three one-act plays, which helped to increase our treasury. 1 The Mother's Club, with the help of the junior class members, gave a Smorgasbord dinner, April 28, l957. , Our money-making projects consisted of various bake sales and selling l Like or l Hate Elvis Pressley 5 pins, stationery, and Christmas candy. 1 The highlight of our iunior year was the Junior-Senior Prom, held in the ballroom of the Hotel Alms. Joyce I Veddern was chosen prom queen with Claude Osteen king.
