HHSHMA IIIASS At their first class meeting the Neophytes elected their class officers: President, Dick Meyerg Vice-President, Jim Herbstreit: Secretary, Joyce Huffg and Treas- urer, Sue Hester. The sponsors for the year were Mr. Frazier, Miss Worrall, and Mr. Howe, the permanent sponsor. In the next meeting they voted their class motto, which isg United We Stand, Divided We Fall their class colors, Red and Grayg their flower, a red carnation. They elected their Sergeants-at-arms- Glenda Whiteaker and Orven Nicely. The freshmen are very proud of Sheila Zimmer and Nancy Asbrock who were chosen as Varsity cheer- leaders. Glenda Whiteaker and Martha Nierman were elected to the Reserve cheerleader squad. The class of 1957 started well and it is the sincere hope of all that they have a happy and prosperous four years at RI-IS.
