Four main facets of science stressed in this program were the universe, op- tics and waves, mechanics, and electri- city. Highlighting the departments extra- curricular activities were a field trip to the Temple University School of Den- tistry and Pharmacy, and a visit to the Kutztown State Teachers College for a science seminar. Numerous laboratory ea:periinents in Mr. Fred E. Luekeubill's advanced bi- ology and physiology classes served as valuable supplements to the regular elass room instruction.
