You have developed from immature children into fine young men and women. I hope that your high school training has given you poise and honesty and the ability to do straight thinking. With these characteristics, you should be able to continue your Hrxalma theme of pioneering and take your place as participating citizens in the duties of our great Nation. The world today needs illustrious leaders, we trust that the Class of 1938 will furnish many capable leaders. It is true that leaders are essential, but legions of honest and worthy followers are also needed. Whether you become a famous leader or a follower, you should always possess a strong character that neither fame nor adversity may change -a quality which made Einstein say of Madam Curie: Marie Curie is, of all celebrated beings, the only one whom fame has not corrupted.
