o L. L. GREER Coach Coach Greer was always ready to do anything to help his team. Rayville athletics were not a success until Mr. Greer came. He put the Rayville foot- ball team on the map. Mr. Greer was not only a good coach but also a friend to all the boys. FLIM HATCH, FLAT RAINER Mascots Flim and Flat were always on the job. When there was anything to be done, they did not wait to be told; they went on and did it. They will be missed by all the boys next season. Page Seventy-eight

CAPTAINS CAPTAIN ZELMA SUMLIN Football Captain Sumlin has made a fine captain in football this year. His decisions were always agreeable to his team mates. He would encour- age his team to do better and make the best of a team just as a cap- tain should. CAPTAIN LASLEY DOWNES Baseball Captain Downes was always on the job and led his team, which was a great help in practice. His team mates were always ready to do as he said. Captain Downes gets great credit for the working machine in base ball. CAPTAIN HERVEY MANGHAM Basketball Captain Mangham did not only make a good captain, but a leading player as well.
