The Girls Cross-Country teom, coached by Coach Bob Croddock, consisted of eight girls. The only senior on the team was Coptoin Dione Barlow. Leading the way for South this year Dione placed ninth out of 183 runners, making her 0 member of the Aii-Stote team. She was also selected AII-Conference 0nd All-District. Juniors Kris Fiebig, Down Hording, Julie Merrill and Susan McVoy with Sophomore Michelle Girordin made up the rest of the Varsity. Girordin was selected AII-District which qualified her for state where she placed 69th.
