We Pledge Allegiance also The crowded halls of Ray- town High School overflow with sixteen hundred students fran- tically rushingr from class to class in a 'constantly changing ebb of emotions. The school ex- pands, its inhabitants change yearly, yet, the sea of faces- some smiling, some frowning, some searching, all merge with- in a time-worn school that has encompassed thousands of stu- dents in the past and has etched remembrances in the minds of each. Baytown students clamor through halls and shuffle down- stairs as ambitions lead them to their distinctive goals and their interests lead them to different subjects and activities. In a ring of success and failure, happi- ness and sorrow, we all cling to- gether 'as humanity seeks the companionship with humanity. Though interests separate us and ambitions divided us, the ever present swelling warmth of pride for Raytown High School unites us. When each of us separates to pursue his own plans for the future, still within us will re- main a common bond that will outlast the crumbling of an aging building. We have become a part of Baytown High School and the ties of fellowship and loyalty manifested will live in our mem.- ories forever. I I I I I I I I I I 4 I I!
