This was a painting party in the school courtyard. On a visit to the Art Gallery, members studied electrical art. At the Art Institute, they viewed the workshop and student gallery. Several members of Art Club participated on a panel discuss- ing the art history. To raise funds for the club, members presented a public art show where they sold some items of student art work. By earning the required number of points, Latin Club members received a pin at the end of the school year. Also Latin Club honored one student by naming him Best Latin Student of the Yearf, An annual spring picnic, a Christmas party, and a banquet of the junior Classical League were among Latin Club's many activities. The main objective of the club was to promote Latin stu- dents, interests in Greco- Roman culture. Drama Club served the school and community through the production of three plays during the year. In the fall play, STAGE DOOR, Beth Leon- ard, Wayne Coldsnow, and Ben Mann carried the leading roles. The musical production, ONLY IN AMERICA, was presented in the spring and proved to be a great success. The childrens, play delighted the younger mem- bers of the community.
