JJ -L , 1. f 140 Los Conquistadores Highlight Uld ' At a regular meeting of the Spanish Club, ies, is leading the club members in a lively Terry Pointer, acting as Master of Ceremon- game of Bingo- Spam The highlight of the year for the Spanish Club was the annual Christmas party. An authentic Mexican meal was served and the breaking of the piiiata added still more to the true Spanish flavor of the event. This year it was held at the Guadalupe Center. The Spanish Club sold car- nations at the basketball home- coming game as a money- making project. This has be- come a tradition at RHS. By earning the required number of points, Latin Club members received a pin at the end of the school year. Also Latin Club honored one student by naming him Best Latin Student of the Yearf, An annual spring picnic, a Christmas party, and a banquet of the junior Classical League were among Latin Club's many activities. The main objective of the club was to promote Latin stu- dents, interests in Greco- Roman culture.
