Industrious tudents Earn Money While A member of VICA, Gary Ellmaker prepares McDonalds Drive-In where he works in the to take an order from a hungry customer at afternoons to earn extra 'money. COE was composed of two divisions, DECA and VICA. Members of DECA were mostly involved in retailing merchan- dise. Those students who worked at technical and industrial jobs were members of VICA. Members sold calenders to earn money for the clubis ac- tivities. At a state contest, members competed with other students involved in COE in such areas as public speaking and job interviews. The Cercle Francais sold mums at the 1967 football homecoming game. This has become the annual money- making project. The first big event of the year Was the Christmas party, with the theme of Christmas on the Rivieraf, Also, a ban- quet was held in February at Andresi. Delightful entertain- ment was provided and a com- plete French meal Was served. For its service project, the French Club aided a needy family in Viet Nam.
