The Bluejays secured a 66-60 victory over the North Kansas City Hornets in a thrilling and suspenseful game. At half-time the Jaywalkers and the R.H.S. pep band provided entertainment preceding the pre- sentation of the queen candidates: Nancy Hill, escorted by Bill Williamson, Sharon Holmes, escorted by Bob Manley, Renee Welch, es- corted by Mike Turnerg and Linda Price, escorted by Dennis Yates. ln a moment of silence, principal Neal Hanks crowned Linda the Winter Wonderland Homecoming Queen, and Miss Pam Peters, 1964 basketball home- coming queen, presented her with flowers. The annual homecoming dance followed in the student lounge, which was decorated in the homecoming theme.
