LONQWELL Social Studies Social Studies 300131 Studles MR, WATERS RAISES CATTLE A man of greatly diversified talents, abilities and interests, Michael C, Waters has taught history classes at Raytown for the last seven years. He obtained his B,S, degree from Kansas State Teachers College and his M,A, degree in education from C,M,S,C, He majored in history and industrial arts, and also studied at the University of Illinois, K,C, Missouri Teachers Col- lege. and Drake University, in Des Moines, Iowa. Originally planning to be a civil engineer, Mr, Waters has taught industrial arts, athletics and history in high schools in Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois and Missouri for atotal of 23 WARREN D. HAXTON Social Studies years. In spite of the demands of his profession, Mr, Waters puts in quite a bit of time as a gentleman farmer, raising Hereford cattle on his farm in Orrick, Missouri, from which he commutes daily.
