Mr. Rankin requests his favorite song to our student Disc Jockeys, Shane and Marty. This years Sweetheart Dance was postponed because of snow. It was originally scheduled for February I3th and was held March 27th in the High School Cafeteria. The theme was Keep on Loving you and was sponsored by the Art Club and the Home Economics Club. This was a year for New Twists , first our Homecoming went west- ern, our attire was Cowboy hats and boots, then our Sweetheart Dance was entertained by two student Disc Jockeys, Marty Foster and Shane Clark. The voting was also done differently, only those who attended the dance would vote on the queen candidates. Wendy Schenherr was voted the I98l Sweetheart Queen. Some dancers take a rest from the dance floor to visit with friends. Couples enjoy dancing to the music played by our own, Shane and Marty. Int SweetheaerlQ -,. -. .a..t...,..,........-.-. ,. .
