The mighty Raymore-Pecu- liar Panthers plucked the Pleasant Hill Roosters in a 35-0 Victory. The coronation of the Homecoming queen was post- poned until the end of the game because of an injury to a Panther player. A life flight helicopter was used in taking Dana Junkin to theSt. Joseph Satellite. As the coronation fi- nally got underway, Vicky Strobl was crowned Home- coming Queen for I980. This year the Homecoming Dance took a new twist. The theme was Midnight Riders and western wear was the at- tire. The country-rock band Snakefoot provided the en- tertainment. Everyone really enjoyed the change of pace. 3W. m l. The l980 Homecoming candidates and attendants await the final announcement. 2. Lorri Wheeler, the l979 Home- coming Queen rides in to crown the l980 Homecoming- Oueen. 3. The Life Flight Helicopter comes at half time to take Dana Junkin to the St. Joseph Satellite Hospital. 4. From 9:00 until :30 the student body danced to the music pro- vided by The Change. The theme of the dance was Silver Dreams. Shawn Roach and Sandy McIntyre were crowned King and Queen for the 80-8l school year. Shawn and Sandy both agreed that it would be a night they would always remember. I.
