VanGordon The Select Choir, Boys Glee and Girls Glee clubs had a successful year. There were Christmas and Spring concerts for the school. Many high ratings were given at contest. Girls Glee received a 2 rating, and Select Choir received a 2 rating over all. At contest many 1's and 2's were presented to the singers. Beth Long, Mike Perkins, and Gaby Jones were selected for State Choir, and sang at National, A.C.D.A. This was the first year Select Choir participated in district and state choir. T. Becker, K. First place sweepstakes at Walk- er meet- and first place sweeptstakes at Sherwood meet. All during the year the squad was quite success- ful in receiving high plac- ings. Raymore-Peculiar held their 3rd. annual speech meet at the school, which ran very successfully.
