On The Dlamond Raymond defeated Farmersville in the first game of the season 8 1 Huber was the winner and Gibbs was the loser The Redbirds took their second straight game of the season with a 5 4 victory over 'Vlorrisonville on the home field The final tally came with the bases loaded when Cooler drove in the winning run with a fielders choice Huber was the winner for Raymond and Anderson the loser for Morrisonville ln the first garne on foreign soil the Redbirds were shutout on one hit as Farmersville behind Gibbs managed to get three runs and enough to win the game Huber was charged with the loss Ball Township behind Haines hitting and pitching took a CMS ganie from the Redbirds Huber was the loser with a score of l4 4 The Morrisonville 'Vlohawks behind the pitching of Hancock took 1 3 Z xictory over the Redbirds. The Redbirds could not find their hitting clothes while Morrison- ville taking advantage of every break pushed over the deciding run eariy in the game, In the two ganies the Redbirds played with the Coffeen tearn Coffeen took the first 4-I, The Redbirds showed a sad lack of hitting, Brachear was charged with the loss, his first decision of the year. Terry Smith took the game for the victors. The second game of the season found Raymond battering out six runs in the first to clinch an easy Z1 to 4 victory for Huber. The Redbirds traveled to Ball Township in the last road game of the season, there the locals lost a heartbreaker in the seventh when leading Z to 1 the Ball nine scored two runs on a dropped pop fly and a throwing error. The loss was charged to Huber while Haines took his second decision of the season over the Redbirds. The Redbirds ended the season with a 3 won and 5 lost record, Huber won all three games while losing 4 and Brachear was charged with the other loss.
