On September first 1948 a group of forty boys and gxrls enrolled at R H S On September smxteenth we had our f1rst meetmg of the year and elected jack Cooler presxdent The other offxcers were Lorena Schum v1ce pres1dent j1m Huber secretary treasurer Kenny Tucker and Pat Hjort student councxl members The class sponsor was Mr Schroeder Durmg the year we lost three of our classmates Dons Day Dale jackson and Paul Janssen One new student Shmrley Thacker jomed us makmng a total of thlrty e1ght students to f1n1sh the Freshman Year On August 29 1949 thxrty s1x members enrolled Three of our classmates d1d not enroll for th1s year s term They were Donald Thunhorst Wanda McGloth11n and Harry Re1man We have one new member Margaret Luttrell Our hrst meetmg of the season was held on September exghth when offlcers for the school term were elected The off1cers are as follows presxdent Kelth Brachear vmce pres1dent jack Cooler secretary treasurer Bob House Reporter Joann Stmllahn and student council members Kenny Tucker and Lorena Schum Mr jones and Mr Weas are our class advxsors Durmg the year we lost two students john Everlan and Tony Krager We feel that we have had a very pleasant year to add to our school day memones Z0 . .
