Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind , Smiles we gave to one another For the way we were. Can it be that it was all so simple then? Or has Time re-written every line? If we had the chance to do it all again, Tell me , would we? COULD we? Memories may be beautiful, and yet What's too painful to remember We simply choose to forget. So, it's the laughter wewill remember Whenever we remember The way we were . The Way We Were J Copyright 1973 by Colgems EMI Music Inc. Used by permission .SQ 75005 FIRST ROW: D. Williams, K. Sincerely, David R. Cawley, Superintendent of Schools Qzincyafh aaiaggs Having placed a man on the moon, developed a supersonic commercial airliner, broken all sorts of land speed records, we have yet to determine what is possible. We still do not know what man's limits really are. We do know, however, that a man's reach should exceed his grasp. If one is to achieve one's goals then one must program one's self to achieve. One try just might not do it. Life consists of many efforts. My sincere best wishes on your efforts to live life to the ful- lest. Sincerely , John J. Callaghan Principal of 5 M J N w Y nz K M5 .. Through their own effort, as Jell as that of the Band Parents, the Marching Band now has brand new, MODERN style uniforms. These new niforms seem to make the band more proud than ever, and their sound seems to have improved, too. The fiarching Band performs in the Memorial Day Parade in Raymond. Last Sept. they played in a Competition at he Deerfield Fair. This spring they will perform in a parade to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Associ- tion. There will be no prize for marching in this parade , but the band feels that to March for Dystrophy will e a rewarding experience. 7' . . vw I ,Aw f Y ha- RNS . Of the seven state meet runners, five will be returning next year, so Raymond can look forward to another fine cross country season in 1977. This was the first season Raymond had a I.V. girls basketball program. The team was composed of mostly Freshmen with little basketball experience but a lot of hustle and desire to play. The I.V. The most successful season in Raymond's short history of Boy's Spring Track was highlighted by: a 15-1 won lost record, lst. place in Conval Relays, Mile's Relays trip to Philadelphia, and N.H. Class M.-S. Stat Championship. Also, during the season, five school records were broken as Kevin Cottrell leaped to new mark in the pole vault and triple jump, Scott Greenwood muscled his way to new shot put and discus standards, an Ed Doane, Don Thompson, Kevin Fisher and Gene Stockel joined forces to establish a new mile relay record The consistently excellent performances put forth by seniors Don Thompson, Ed Doane, Kevin Fisher, an Kevin Cottrell will be greatly missed. Even though there are many fine, young trackmen returning, the 197 team will be hard pressed to equal the achievements of this one. RPYM045 'Vt 1.1 40 un, A S In only its second season of competition, the Girl Spring Track Team has five girls - Kerry Conroy Linda Cottrell, Lisa Wylie, Loretta Morrill, an Allison Carver - qualify for the state championships Of these five, all but Loretta and Allison were sen' iors, so for the 1977 Girls Spring Track Team to b successful the many young returning girls will hav to fill the void left by Kerry's, Lisa's, and Linda graduation. ,J wuz K K NQAL -W If 155400 3 fxg r f - A XL 'S di, ,....
