A few of Mr. Carroll's many jobs at Raymond are hiring new teachers and personnel, buying books, super- vising maintenance of buildings, disciplining problem students, and settling grievances. Mr. Carroll attended the University of Illinois, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree, Washington State University where he earned a Masters Degree in Education, and the University of Washington, where he did graduate work. He is active in the.Kiwanis Club and the Dinner Dance Club. He also belongs to the Executive Board of Grays Harbor Council of Boy Scouts. Mr. Carroll served his military term in the United States Navy. For pleasure and recreation Mr. Carroll reads and plays golf. Mrs. Charlene Fykerud m R. AUOGQSOU, Secretary DRIUCIDAI. For the past nineteen years Mr. Semon . Anderson has been teacher, principal, and good frien to the stu- dents at Raymond High School. Mr. Anderson became principal in 195. and since then he has set up class schedules, carried out student and faculty activities, disciplined students, and helped new students get organized. Some of Mr. Anderson's many duties are acting as guidance counselor and substituting for teachers. Being a well educated man,Mr. Anderson studied at The U1'liVCfSity of California,Berkeley,California,Pacific Lutheran College, Parkland, Washingtong and the Col- lege of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Washington. Mr. Anderson's social life is quite active, for he feels that one must also be active in the community affairs to be a well-rounded citizen. He is a member of Masonic Lodge, the Elks Lodge, the Booster Club, the Kiwanis Club, and the Lutheran Church.
