lfllTGl2ClASS Rlvallly Interclass rivalry has worked this year more than in the past years. In ticket sales, the juniors were awarded ten dollars by the Student Council for reaching 100 per cent first. One of the many projects which inter- class rivalry sponsored was the picking up litter in the halls. Girls' State, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary, was held on the campus of Central Washington State College at Ellensburg, June 12 to June 19. The purpose of Girls' State is to provide citizenship training for girls, to afford them an opportunity to live together as self-governing citizens in order that they may understand and participate ir1 the functioning of local, state and federal government. i SEATED: G. The adviser for the Boys' League was Mr. Byron Vadset.
