The Seagull Syncopators, that quartet of Senior songbirds, sang mighty purty for many a program. Individual members of band and glee clubs and talented students from other groups have been presented in solos. Violinist, Bill Ruther- ford, pianists, Jane Mountcastle, Marian Jeans, Anitabelle Thomas, and Carol Conley, and soloists, Jeanne Leedom and Nellie Bannish, were well received at the Mothers' Tea. Mrs. Zonich Glee Club Director The Victory Melodiers, one of the most popular musical groups in school, made its debut at Dime Nite and then packed the old Opry House for the Minstrel Show on April 16. Directed by Mr. Beck, Mr. Bonamy and Miss Rasco, and supported by the band, the Melodiers put on the super show of the year. Bill I-loffer and Ted Pilot wowed the crowd with their Mr. Gallagher and Mr. Shean impersonatlons. Ed Zambas and Don Bale scored hits in song and instrumental numbers. Scott Turner, Leonard Burley, Stan Urych, Jim Gotsis, Chob Kolcz, Joe Bagley, and Bill Kuehner brought down the house with their gags and black face characterizations.
